Anthropic launched a Personal Finance tool for Claude on November 5, 2026. The feature connects users’ bank and credit card accounts to Claude via the Plaid platform. Claude’s access to the financial data is read-only and cannot move, manage, or invest user money.
The tool is currently in beta and available to Claude Pro, Max, and Ultra subscribers in the US. Claude analyzes spending to flag issues like duplicate charges and increasing bills. Anthropic states that conversations in the Personal Finance hub are not used to train Claude’s models.
This update gives Claude users a way to review their financial health without manual effort. The read-only nature of the connection protects user funds from unauthorized transactions. Users can now get help managing their personal finances directly through their AI assistant.
