Nanbeige4.3-33B. A 33B dense model, 512K context, Apache 2.0. It wins 17 of the 20 benchmarks they picked. The wins aren't close. Terminal-Bench 2.1: 80.9 against Qwen3.8-27B at 73.0. DeepSWE: 65.5 against 42.5. Automation Bench, their office-automation suite: 54.2 against 38.3. A 33B dense model doing that to a 27B is not what the scaling curve from last year predicted. The three losses: SWE-Bench Pro 60.3 to 61.7, GDPval 84.8 to 86.4, GPQA Diamond 89.5 to Gemma4-31B's 91.3. Two of those are near-misses, and GPQA is the one benchmark here that rewards memorized science trivia more than agentic work, so I'd weight it least.
Not a new model. It's K3 run through RL again with heavier post-training compute, and it's within a few points of the top closed models on coding, 3D, and finance. Terminal-Bench 4.0: 65.7%, over GPT-6 Astra's 58.2%, 0.7 points short of Claude Opus 5.5. On Kimi's own long-horizon eval, K3 went from 55.95% to 61.2%. Third-party testers also flagged the bill. It eats tokens, and a single task takes about 2x what Opus High needs.
You've probably run into those short videos lately where an agent drives a phone around by itself. This one is called Mika, and it's a free open-source project. It's an Android app that works in the background through accessibility mode, so it can use pretty much any other app you have installed. Reply to someone on WeChat, scroll Xiaohongshu, drop something in a cart and check out. It finds the buttons by looking at the screen. There's no API to wire up, and it doesn't care what resolution your phone is. When it reaches a payment step or a captcha it stops and lets you finish. 🔗 github.com/wangzan101/Mika
Someone on Xiaohongshu posted a while back that she sells phone keyboard skins she made with Codex. Eight, ten yuan a pack. Over a thousand a month. I've been at mine for months. October: a few hundred copies, $1,200 gross. Platform fee 30%, tax 10%, so 60% should have landed. It came to just over a thousand dollars. I still don't know how the math pulled that off. I have an overseas bank account. Once lost $500 to a wire transfer off one. I'd still tell you to take payout through WorldFirst: less hassle, lower fees. You can also get a Hong Kong USD credit card tied to it that spends your WorldFirst balance directly. Digital card is free. Physical is $4. Mainland purchases under ¥200 skip the processing fee, and right now there's 1% cashback.
